What is salvation?
Salvation is the pardon from the guilt and penalty of sin.
How do I get salvation?
Salvation is a gift that is made available to those who repent, believe and confess that Jesus is Lord and that He died and rose from the dead to save mankind.
I’m a good person. Will my good deeds get me into heaven?
Salvation cannot be earned through good deeds or works; it is a gift of God received through faith.
Ephesians 2:8 says….”For by grace we are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not by works, lest any man shall boast.”
What must I do to be saved?
Romans 10:9-10 says….”If thou confess with thou mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
If you are ready to be saved, pray this prayer:
Heavenly Father, I come to you just as I am in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe that Jesus Christ is your Son, who died on the cross, and after three days you raised him from the dead for my sins. Holy Spirit, I submit to you, come into my life; create in me a clean heart and a renewed spirit. Heavenly Father, I believe by the confession of my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and by the belief in my heart that you raised him from the dead, I am saved, I am saved, I am saved, in Jesus’ name.
