NU Generation

“We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and His strength and His wonderful works that He has done. For He established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children; that the generation to come might know them, the children who would be born, that they may arise and declare them to their children, that they may set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments. Psalm 78:4-7
NU (Next Up) Generation is the student ministry of Living the Word International for youth 6th grade to high school senior. NU Generation is poised and positioned to advance the kingdom of God for the next generation. It is our responsibility to train and develop them become the champions God has called them to be by equipping them with the Word of God and handing off the baton of a vibrant, kingdom-focused faith to carry into their future. The NU Generation student ministry consists of:

I.G.N.I.T.E.

(Middle and Jr. High School, Grades 6-8)
I.G.N.I.T.E. is LTWI’s vibrant preteen ministry for grades 6th-8th which meets every Sunday at 9:00 AM and Wednesday 7:00 p.m. in the Joybel Center. Their sessions consist of faith-based, age-appropriate, and relevant teaching of God’s Word. The lessons are designed to encourage each child to live a lifestyle that reflects their relationship with Jesus. This ministry also provides a spiritual platform for children to creatively use their gifts to serve the Lord.

Fire Starters

(High School, Grades 9-12)
Fire Starters is the radical teen ministry of Living the Word International for boys and girls who are in grades 9-12. By “radical”, we mean very different from the usual. God is seeking spirit-filled youth who “dare to be different,” and are not ashamed or afraid to live for Him. Our goal is to spiritually empower them to live free from the pressure of worldly demands and ignite a fire for Jesus Christ in their peers. Accomplishing this radical lifestyle and mindset is based on what the Apostle Paul said in Romans 12:1-2, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, [which is] your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.” The First Starters small group sessions are held every Wednesday night at 7:00 PM in the Joybel Center second floor classroom.

First time?

LTWI’s student ministry check-in is located at the Welcome Desk in the Joybel Center. You’ll be greeted by smiling ministry servant who will be eager to assist you with the check-in process. After checking in for the first time, children can check themselves in with parental consent.

Because we value safety, we’ll need some information during this check-in time, including: family member’s name and birthday, child’s name and birthday, home address, email address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, etc.)
