Online giving provides a fast, easy, and secure way to give one-time gifts and scheduled gifts. You can also easily edit and delete your scheduled giving, view your giving history, and download your giving statements. Types of online giving accepted include debit card and all major credit cards.

Physical check or cash can be given during the offering time of the service. Please make checks payable to Living the Word International or LTWI and place in the offering container utilizing an offering envelop. If you use online bill pay or otherwise prefer to mail your gift, please use the following address (please do not mail cash).

Mobile Giving allows you to give at any time while using your mobile device via text message. Please note to give using a text message you must first setup an account through a web browser. After an account is set up you can give by texting “give” to 833-921-6450 followed by the dollar amount you would like to give.

Living the Word International offers several fund accounts. The tithes & offerings giving option is our general operating fund that is used to finance the ongoing operations of the church. We encourage contributors to give their Biblical tithe and offering to this fund throughout the year. The remaining fund accounts which are identified by name are set up to finance specific ministries or programs, such as the LTWI Scholarship Fund, New Year’s Seed offering, and Bless2Bless community outreach, etc. Please note the fund account and designations are for your accounting purposes only. All contributions should be given with the understanding that Living the Word International has complete discretion and control over the use of all donated funds, and no goods or services were received in exchange for the donations.

Please do not include fee payments as part of your tithe and offerings by any form of payment as these payments will be processed as a gift and will not be applied to the amounts you owe. Please direct any fee payments to member of finance or ministry handling the activity at the Guest Services counter or to the administration office in person or by mail.

Yes, you can schedule gifts for a onetime, weekly, twice per month or monthly occurrence. You can also set up as many scheduled contributions as you would like and cancel and modify the gifts at any time before the scheduled gift is processed.

Yes, Living the Word International must pay merchant fees on all debit and credit card transactions. However, you have the option to pay the fees. The merchant fee rates average about 2.9% + $0.30 for all online and mobile giving transactions. If you are concerned about LTWI having to pay fees on your giving, you can choose to pay them by selecting the “add fees to contribution” feature, or by submitting a physical check or cash in an offering envelope.

Yes. When you login to your account to give you will notice the web address will change from http:// to https//: This means any information you send is encrypted using SSL encryption technology. This security technology is the same technology that banks, and major online retailers use. Please do not email your credit card information.

Generally, yes. Living the Word International is an Internal Revenue Service determined 501(c)(3) which in most cases makes your gifts to Living the Word International tax deductible for income tax reporting purposes. Cases in which you would not be able to deduct your contributions include, you do not itemize deductions on your tax return, payments made for the benefit of a specific individual (camp payments, concert tickets, fair market value of a silent auction item, etc.) and gifts exceeding any charitable contribution deduction limits imposed by the Internal Revenue Service (any gift exceeding 60% of your AGI adjusted gross income for the taxable year. In some cases, it may be 20%, 30% or 50% limits may apply to other forms of donations, (property, stock, life insurance).

Cash and check contributions must be received or postmarked by December 31st to be included on your giving statement for that year. Online transactions must be initiated by 11:59 pm ET on December 31st to be included. Yes, Living the Word International accepts non-cash gifts (stocks, bonds, property, or land, and/or gifts from third party organizations (corporate giving programs, donor advised funds, foundations, IRA qualified charitable distributions, etc.). Many corporate giving programs will match your payroll deduction gift, and this channel of giving is an excellent way for your gift dollars to go further. Restrictions may apply so please consult your employer’s human resource department, financial advisor, etc. for more information.

Documentation for tax reporting purposes for gifts made through a third-party organization must be obtained from the corresponding third-party organization. To give a non-cash gift, please request and complete the non-cash (in-kind) gift form. Please do not make any donation without first completing the non-cash (in-kind) gift form and obtaining approval from the Finance Department.

Yes. You can request a giving statement at any time. Otherwise, your end of year statement will be made available to you once all end of year donations is processed and recorded both online and by mail if you choose. Please note business and organization statements are not available online.
